A bicycle and urban development tour to Offenbach

(Hesse excursion #6)

The excursion to Offenbach starts directly at KAP Europa. From there, the tour continues by bicycle along the Main river to Offenbach Harbour, where the city of Offenbach, together with Stadtwerke Offenbach and the University of Art and Design, will show Offenbach’s cycle-only roads and their special features. The tour also passes Waldstraße and the test run set up there – elimination of one lane for motor vehicle traffic in each direction and installation of cycling lanes – before the tour ends at bustling Wilhelmsplatz.
